Eyeshadow Series: California Sunset Palette

Are you stuck in the same color makeup routine? Perhaps it's time for a refresher? I've picked the season's on trend colors to give your makeup bag the ultimate makeover! The California Sunset 5-color palette was designed with each individual color to be worn alone, or mixed in a variety of ways. The 3-step tutorial below shows you how to do a soft daytime look, appropriate for the office, or a day of shopping!

Step 1: add depth

Using the #4 blending crease brush, apply the medium brown shade from the palette, sweeping the crease from the outside in.

Step 2: Apply Lid Color

Apply the pink shade from the California Sunset palette, using the flat portion of brush #6 to press the color into the lid. (You can experiment with any of the pop colors on this portion of the lid! Try the coral, purple, or gold!)

Step 3: Drop Shadow

Using the #5 smudge brush, sweep the pink from the inner lash line sweeping out, and the brown from the outer corners sweeping in. Complete with a light sweep of eyeliner and mascara.
